Things are shaking

Hebrews 12:28…Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, (29) for our God is a consuming fire.

What a powerful verse!! The world seems to be shaking. Hurricanes, earthquakes, wars, political strife and so on. Jesus spoke of these very things. He said they would happen at alarming rates, meaning speeding up, before he would return. How should we who know Christ respond? Firstly, we do not fear. Perfect love, which is God casts out all fear. Secondly, be ready and prepared spiritually, physically and financially. A revived church is an expectant church. Thirdly, tell friends and family about the love of God, the sacrifice of Jesus, and then encourage people to put their hope and trust in Jesus. We have much work to be done and it is great work. It’s the work of the Kingdom. God’s kingdom. It’s in our hearts and one day the physical kingdom will arrive at the coming of the King! Wow, how exciting.

Blessings,
