Family Internet Safety Class
The internet can be a wonderful resource and tool, but it can also be a dark place.
Our children spend more time on their devices than ever before, and it is up to us to educate them and ourselves about the dangers of being online.
Therefore, we are offering a short class for parents, guardians and grandparents to help you understand the basics of internet safety and also offer help on trust and accountability in this area.
James Cairns (who is a full time IT professional, parent and member of our church) will be teaching this class on Sunday, March 2nd after the service and I encourage you to attend if you are concerned or have questions.
Lunch will be provided as will childcare so you can focus on the class.
We ask that you sign up so we know how many are coming and can prepare accordingly. Sign up at Guest Services in the Edge, contact us at the Church Office (403) 504-0123 or send an email to info@rivervalleychurch.ca with the number of adults and children attending. Deadline to sign up is Thursday, Feb. 27th.
