Anja Runtz -Worship Director

Anja has been singing to Jesus since she was a little girl growing up in Regina. She sang in church for many years and while attending Into His Harvest Bible School, she learned how to lead worship. Anja has now been leading worship for over 20 years in local churches, at various conferences and prayer events, and through short-term missions in nations around the world including England, Ireland, Zambia, Philippines, India, Belize, and the USA.

In 2013, Anja moved to Medicine Hat to join staff at YWAM Selah, where she continues to serve part-time as a member of the leadership team. She began attending River Valley Community Church in 2020, where it quickly felt like home and family. In October 2025, Anja joined our team part-time as the Worship Director. Her heart is still to sing to Jesus and she loves leading others into a place of wholehearted love for Him!
