This morning I read Revelation 22 which completes my 67th reading of the whole Bible. This chapter is a reminder to us that Jesus is coming soon and of the hope that is ours of a forever future. I love the word of God. “Great peace have those who love your law, nothing shall make them stumble.” Psalm 119:165  “I rejoice in your promise like one who finds great spoil (treasure).” Psalm 119:162  I want to encourage you to read the word of God. As you read it, you may start off in the shredded wheat stage (dry but nourishing) and then go to the cod liver oil stage (you take it because it is good for you) and then it leads to the peaches and cream stage (delightfully refreshing). The more you read it the better it is.  God speaks to me  through his word, through my wife (DL, P, A and Wonderful (W) W) and through his people. I especially appreciate the scriptures that God gives me to remind me of his presence, peace and power.
