Thinking Thots – December 9 & 10, 2016

EA (Evangelical Association) had it’s Christmas civic luncheon on Friday. I had the pleasure of sitting with the Medicine Hat Fire Chief and his wife and Counselor Bill Cocks. In the fellowship time several Pastors from the community shared with me that they were following my blog and praying for me, which is always much appreciated.

I was originally not planning to share my situation but then I felt as people find out I wouldn’t keep it a secret. Then I realized that the struggles we face are not meant to be faced alone. It is important to have the prayer support of family, friends and loved ones. “I need and appreciate your prayers.” I have been surprised how many have commented.

Saturday I took time for physical training – so thankful that I am feeling well and have no symptoms.

Isaiah 41:10 was a prayer focus for me. “Do not fear for I am with you. Do not be dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” A familiar verse that reminds me that God is with me and He is strengthening me. My trust is in Him.
