The Roset family has a scripture verse. Micah 6:8 “He has shown you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and walk humbly with your God.”
I have 2 Roset Aunts, Aunt Odella and Aunt Gladys. Aunt Gladys is one who phones and prays; and it’s good to get news of the family from her. Aunt Odella called yesterday and gave me Hebrews4:16 “Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” My Aunts are faithful in praying for our whole family and they pray with faith and power and we can feel it when they pray.
Family is so very important and I am so grateful for my family and Carol’s (my DL, P, A, W, B, K and Gracious (G) W) family. Thankful for our Christian heritage that has been shared through the generations.
Pastor Ken! The Lord tells us to rejoice in all things, and again He says rejoice! That goes so against the grain of human reasoning! How are we supposed to rejoice after a report like this! But as we have been learning, biblical hope is confident expectation! Confident in knowing that the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in us! It is the same Spirit that Jesus operated in as a man when He walked the earth. Jesus never minced words and in Mark 11:22 Jesus says have faith in God! :23 He talks about speaking to your mountains! So here we have the mountain of cancer. We will continue to speak to it in the Name of Jesus! Jesus always spoke directly to the spirits. And we are now speaking to the spirit of cancer, Verse :24 instructs us when we speak to it, not to doubt! We always have the faith to know that God can heal and He accomplished that on the cross! Now it is up to us to carry the torch that Jesus passed to us! Now to him who believes! I believe that is where I come short! Do I believe like Jesus believed? This is the area that I pray for constant growth in! I had quite the experience with this about a month ago, would love to get with you tomorrow and share it with you! God IS a God of miracles! And that miracle working dutamis power is working in us! Be Blessed my friend! Let’s speak to this mountain that stands in our way and be removed now and cast in the sea! They should write a song about that!
Our prayers for you during this time. We know that God will see you through this time of testing and trials. God never leaves us , He is always there. What a comfort !!!
